In 2026, the Sea-to-Sky Founder Award is entering its second year, and we’re continuing something simple: backing local founders who are building meaningful businesses in our own backyard.
Based in the Sea-to-Sky corridor ourselves, we see how much potential lives between Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, and the smaller communities in between. The award was created to support that potential with two things founders often need most: funding and focused marketing advisory.
What the Award Is About
The Sea-to-Sky Founder Award is designed for founders and small teams who are:
- Building purpose-driven ventures that create real value for people and communities
- Using technology, creativity, or new models to solve problems in practical ways
- Ready to tighten up their marketing, storytelling, and growth foundations
Selected founders receive funding support alongside hands-on time with Beyondoing on brand, marketing systems, and growth strategy. The goal is to help good ideas become resilient, scalable businesses that can keep contributing to the region over the long term.
We’ve already had the privilege of backing local ventures in areas like AI, community media, and live experiences. In 2026, we’re committed to continuing that support and meeting more founders who are building with both ambition and intent.
